Who we are
Founded in Christchurch, Lifestyle Lawns is a family owned business led by Matt and Hayley, backed by a skilled, dedicated team with over 18 years of landscaping and artificial turf experience.
We’ve grown from small beginnings into a nationwide brand known for innovation, integrity, and workmanship. What hasn’t changed is our approach, genuine service, honest advice, and turf installations done right.
Our diverse team includes designers, installers, and project managers who share one goal: delivering a result you’ll love for years to come.
Matt Petheram

With over 18 years in the landscaping industry, Matt brings deep knowledge and hands on expertise to every project. Growing up in Prebbleton and attending Lincoln High, Matt is passionate about the problems artificial turf solves, whether it’s muddy backyards, maintenance headaches, or unsafe play spaces. When he’s not leading the team, you’ll find him with his wife, their two young kids, and two miniature sausage dogs.
Hayley Petheram
Marketing Manager & Co-Director

The engine behind the brand, Hayley leads all things marketing and strategy. A proud mum of two, she juggles business life between school and preschool drop offs, with a coffee in hand and a to do list in her phone. Known for her heart of gold, her husband Matt often says, “If Hayley were running the show solo, everyone would have a free artificial lawn.” Her passion for people, community, and creating beautiful spaces is at the core of everything she does.

With a strong background in the landscaping industry, Taylor is known for building genuine relationships and delivering smart, tailored solutions for our clients. As our go to for sales and new opportunities, he’s always one step ahead, keeping Lifestyle Lawns at the forefront of the market. Down to earth and driven, Taylor brings warmth and professionalism to every interaction. If Taylor’s not playing golf, hanging out with his dog Frank then he’s probably deep in quotes or chasing the next big project.

As a hardworking and dedicated team member, he takes pride in delivering top quality installations and seeing every project through with care. His strong work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right make him a respected leader on site.

With over 6 years of hands on experience installing artificial grass, Dallas brings both expertise and calm confidence to every job. Known for his cool headed approach and perfectionist mindset, he ensures projects especially sports courts are delivered to the highest standard. Outside of turf installs, Dallas brings the same rhythm and finesse to playing bass guitar, he’s just as skilled on stage as he is on site.
