Artificial grass maintenance and aftercare

Professional artificial lawn maintenance and ongoing support to keep your outdoor space looking and performing at its best for years to come.

Your lawn doesn’t stop at installation.

At Lifestyle Lawns, we back our products, workmanship and clients well beyond handover day. We don't see installation as the finish line. It's the beginning of years of family time, entertaining and everyday enjoyment outdoors. With a little ongoing care, your lawn will continue looking fresh, tidy and ready to enjoy season after season.

Your complimentary aftercare visit

Every new residential installation by Lifestyle Lawns includes a complimentary 3-month aftercare visit to help keep your outdoor space looking its best after the initial settling period.

Our team returns to inspect the surface, tidy up any high-traffic areas and make sure everything is settling in nicely for everyday family life, entertaining and time spent outside.

Over the first few months, it is completely normal for fibres to settle naturally and infill to compact slightly as the lawn beds into its new environment. This visit allows us to check everything over and make any small adjustments if required.

This service includes:

  • Surface inspection

  • Re-brushing and grooming high-traffic areas

  • Infill level assessment and redistribution

  • Join and edge inspection

  • Aftercare recommendations and maintenance advice

Even though artificial grass is low maintenance, lawns that get a lot of family use, entertaining or time outside can still benefit from the occasional refresh over time.

Our maintenance and grooming service is exclusively available for Lifestyle Lawns installations. Our team can help refresh the surface to keep your lawn looking its best year round. Regular grooming and maintenance can also help extend the lifespan of the lawn while keeping it comfortable and enjoyable for everyday use.

This service may include:

  • Power grooming and brushing

  • Infill top-ups and redistribution

  • Pet area treatment

  • Debris and weed removal

  • Surface refreshes and tidy-ups

Why ongoing maintenance matters

Even low-maintenance lawns benefit from the occasional refresh over time, especially outdoor spaces used regularly by families, pets and for entertaining.

Regular maintenance helps keep artificial grass looking tidy, feeling comfortable underfoot and performing at its best year-round.

Refresh and revive

Regular grooming helps lift the fibres and keep the lawn looking fresh and natural in high-use outdoor areas. It also helps prevent leaves, dust and garden debris from building up on the surface over time.

Reduce flattening

Perfect for family backyards, entertaining areas and spaces that get a lot of foot traffic. Brushing and grooming can help restore the appearance of areas where furniture, pets or regular use have caused fibres to flatten.

Extend lawn life

Ongoing servicing can help maintain the appearance and performance of artificial grass. Keeping drains clear, maintaining infill levels and addressing small issues early can contribute to the longevity of the surface.

Freshen pet areas

For households with dogs, regular cleaning and occasional treatment of toileting areas can help minimise odours and keep outdoor spaces feeling fresh and enjoyable for the whole family.

What to expect from your lawn over time

Artificial grass is designed to handle everyday family life, pets and entertaining, but some natural settling is completely normal.

Over time, fibres may flatten in high-traffic areas, infill can shift slightly and leaves or garden debris may build up on the surface. Regular maintenance helps keep everything looking tidy and allows small issues to be addressed before they become bigger ones.
